Our Story
Amazing Spaces was founded in 2003 by Renée Ory with a simple goal: to help people reclaim their homes and create spaces that truly support their lives.
Over the years, Renée discovered that organizing is about much more than sorting belongings. It’s about understanding how people live, helping them let go of what no longer serves them, and designing systems that make daily life easier.
Today, Amazing Spaces has grown into a trusted team of professional organizers serving Lafayette and surrounding communities.

Renée Ory
Owner + Operator
Renée founded Amazing Spaces after recognizing how deeply our environments affect the way we live.
She has spent more than two decades helping clients simplify their homes, navigate life transitions, and rediscover the joy of living in spaces that truly support them.
Her thoughtful approach combines organization, design, and an understanding of how homes evolve through different life stages.
Renée holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Louisiana and brings a design-focused perspective to every project. She has also served as Chamber Ambassador Chairman and was honored as Ambassador of the Year by the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce (now One Acadiana).
Her approach is practical, thoughtful, and grounded in helping clients move forward with clarity and confidence.
Susan Camel
Lead Organizer
Susan brings years of experience and a natural eye for organization to every project. A Lafayette native and mother of three grown children, she understands firsthand how thoughtful systems can make everyday life easier and more enjoyable.
She is known for building genuine connections with clients and creating spaces that reflect what matters most to them. Susan has a special talent for thoughtfully incorporating family photos and memorabilia into projects, ensuring that organization never comes at the expense of meaning.
